Overview

Parul Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PIMSR) is a medical college in Vadodara, Gujarat, established in 2015 as one of the 28 institutes under Parul University spread over 150 acres of a fully-equipped campus offering more than 250 programmes. PIMSR is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and is the only institution in Gujarat to boast 109 competent faculty members from reputed institutions such as IITs and NITs. The annual undergraduate student intake is 150, selected via the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for MBBS and other para-medical courses.

Campus

Parul Institute of Medical Science and Research is situated in the vast campus of Parul University spanning an area greater than 150 acres, fully equipped with a variety of cells such as Research & Development Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Career Development Cell, Training & Placement Cell, International Relations Cell, International Students’ Affair Cell, Department of Events & Media Relations, Students’ Council as well as medical academic facilities and residential facilities.

Placements:

The training and placement cell organises campus placement drives for students. The career development cell along with the training and placement cell helps students prepare for recruitments. The T&P cell not only ensures a high quality of recruiters participating in the placement drives but also conducts several workshops and pre-placement talks to groom and prepare students for the recruitment process.

Admission

M.B.B.S. Admissions:

Selection Criteria: National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) score and rank.

Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Admission Procedure:

• Candidates must apply and appear for the NEET UG exams usually conducted in July (online mode) and September (offline mode).
• After securing a valid all-India rank, students will be required to participate in the NEET UG counselling process, where they may fill PIMSR as their first choice during choice filling.
• Candidates will be offered admission based on their NEET score/rank. Candidates offered seats may proceed with verification of documents and payment of fees to confirm their admission.

Undergraduate medical admissions- B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc., BASLP, A.N.M, G.N.M, B.Pharm., B.A.M.S, B.H.M.S and B.P.T.

Selection Criteria: Academic merit in qualifying exams and counselling.

Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

Admission Procedure:

• Candidates must register for admissions to PIMSR along with the submission of required documents and the payment of fees.
• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic merit in qualifying exams. Shortlisted students will be required to participate in the counselling process for seat allocation.
• Candidates offered seats may proceed with verification of documents and payment of fees to confirm their admission.
